WOO X Launches MiCA-Aligned EU Trading Platform
WOO X has gone live with WOO X EU, a trading platform built for Europe's MiCA regime, backed by a collaboration with Payward Services.
Crypto exchange WOO X announced on September 28, 2026 that it has launched WOO X EU, a trading platform designed to operate in line with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation.
The rollout is supported by a collaboration with Payward Services, the B2B infrastructure platform operated by Payward, according to the company's announcement.
Built for the EU rulebook
WOO X described the new venue as custom-built for European traders rather than adapted from its existing global offering. MiCA establishes a single licensing and compliance framework for crypto asset service providers across EU member states, requiring firms to meet disclosure, custody and operational standards.
- WOO X EU is positioned as a dedicated European platform
- The launch is tied to a partnership with Payward Services
- The platform is designed around MiCA compliance requirements
WOO X is among a growing group of exchanges setting up separate entities or platforms to serve EU customers under MiCA, as the bloc's framework continues to reshape how crypto firms structure their European operations.
