Crystal's October 5 snapshot found about $396 million of Open USD unmoved across eight Tempo wallets, leaving custody-account activity unclear.

Open USD's supply has reached $666 million, but the tokens are concentrated in a small number of addresses, according to an analysis by blockchain intelligence firm Crystal. Ten wallets account for the majority of the asset's supply.
Crystal's October 5 snapshot found roughly $396 million of Open USD sitting unmoved across eight wallets tied to Tempo. The firm said it was unable to establish how much activity was taking place inside customer custody accounts, leaving a portion of the supply's circulation unclear.
What the snapshot shows
- Total Open USD supply stands at $666 million.
- About $396 million was unmoved in eight Tempo wallets as of the October 5 snapshot.
- Ten wallets hold most of the supply.
- Activity within customer custody accounts remains unknown, per Crystal.
Concentration of supply in a limited set of wallets is a common characteristic of young token networks, and it can reflect custody arrangements, treasury holdings or market-making inventory rather than a single owner. Because the figures come from a single dated snapshot, they describe a moment in time and do not by themselves show how the tokens are being used or traded.
