Only 10% of FOMO App's Solana Wallets Profitable After Fees, Bitquery Data Shows
Bitquery's January–October 2026 cohort shows app fees wiping out narrow gains, with token trades accounting for most of the losses.

Roughly one in ten Solana wallets interacting with the FOMO app ended the period profitable once fees were taken into account, according to an analysis by blockchain data provider Bitquery covering a January–October 2026 cohort.
The data indicates that recorded app fees were sufficient to erase the modest gains some users had accumulated, while token trading was responsible for the majority of losses across the cohort.
Fee drag on retail trading
- About 10% of wallets in the cohort were profitable after fees
- Token trades accounted for most of the losses recorded
- App fees erased narrow gains for users in the January–October 2026 period
Performance measured after fees can differ substantially from figures based on price movement alone, since frequent small trades accumulate costs that may outweigh marginal returns. The findings add to an ongoing discussion about how trading costs shape outcomes for retail users on Solana.
