CoinsBee Data Shows TRON USDT Topping Bitcoin In Payment Volume
Over a 90-day window ending September 1, TRC-20 USDT accounted for about 1.8 times as many completed payments as Bitcoin on crypto payment platform CoinsBee.

Crypto payment platform CoinsBee reported that USDT issued on the TRON network processed roughly 1.8 times as many completed payments as Bitcoin during a 90-day measurement period running from June 4 to September 1. The company published the findings as part of a broader data release on payment activity across its platform.
Share of Platform Payments
TRC-20 USDT represented 16.23% of CoinsBee's payments so far in 2026, according to the company, up from 9.92% in 2025. The shift places the stablecoin ahead of Bitcoin in completed transaction count for the measured window.
- Measured window: June 4 through September 1 (90 days)
- TRC-20 USDT completed payments: about 1.8x Bitcoin's total
- TRC-20 USDT share of 2026 year-to-date payments: 16.23%
- Comparable 2025 share: 9.92%
CoinsBee cautioned that the figures reflect activity on its own service only and should not be read as a picture of global crypto payment volumes. The company's data covers purchases made through its gift card and prepaid product catalog.
Stablecoins running on lower-cost networks have seen growing use in retail and merchant payment contexts, where transfer fees and settlement speed are often deciding factors. TRON has long hosted a large share of circulating USDT, and network-level data has repeatedly shown TRC-20 transfers dominating stablecoin transaction counts, even as Ethereum carries a larger share of total value. CoinsBee's numbers add a merchant-side data point to that trend, though they remain limited to a single platform's customer base.
