Bitcoin Price Stabilization Continues, Glassnode Flags Weak Capital Inflows
Glassnode reports Bitcoin's recent rally from $60,000 appears defensive, with inflows and trading volumes still subdued.

Bitcoin has held above the $60,000 mark in recent trading sessions, but on-chain analytics firm Glassnode warns that the move resembles a stabilization pattern rather than a decisive trend reversal. The firm’s latest report highlights that capital inflows into the asset remain weak, and overall trading activity has not picked up enough to confirm a new bullish phase.
According to Glassnode, the realized capitalization — a metric that tracks the aggregate cost basis of all coins moved on-chain — has been flat, indicating a lack of fresh capital entering the market. The firm also noted that short-term holder spending patterns remain cautious, with realized losses still outweighing gains in many recent transactions.
On-Chain Signals Point to Cautious Sentiment
Glassnode’s analysis suggests that while Bitcoin avoided a deeper correction below $60,000, the market is still digesting the selling pressure from earlier this month. The exchange inflow data shows no major accumulation by whales or institutional players, further supporting the view that the current price action is more about defense than offense.
The on-chain data provider emphasized that for a sustainable uptrend to form, Bitcoin would need to see a recovery in capital flows and a pickup in transaction volumes, neither of which has materialized yet. Without these catalysts, the cryptocurrency may remain range-bound in the near term.
