Bitcoin Rebounds to $63,000 in Oversold Relief Rally
BTC recovers to $63,000 as analysts cite oversold conditions; South Korea's KOSPI slump has limited impact.
Bitcoin regained the $63,000 level on Wednesday, staging an 'oversold relief rally' after a recent downturn, according to market observers.
The rebound comes amid a sharp sell-off in South Korea's KOSPI index, which plunged 8% during Asian trading hours. However, analysts suggest the correlation between the two markets is limited.
Min Jung, a researcher at Presto, told The Block that the KOSPI crash may have had some impact on bitcoin's recovery, but not substantially. 'The move appears more driven by technical factors and bargain hunting after BTC dropped into oversold territory,' Jung said.
Bitcoin had fallen below $60,000 earlier in the week, triggering a wave of long liquidations. The current rally has brought the asset back above its 50-day moving average, though traders remain cautious about sustained upside.
