BingX EU Receives MiCA Licence From Austria's FMA to Serve EEA
BingX's European entity has secured a MiCA authorisation from Austria's financial regulator, opening the way to serve customers across 29 EEA countries.

BingX's European arm has obtained a Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) licence from Austria's Financial Market Authority, the exchange said, clearing it to provide regulated digital asset services across the European Economic Area.
The authorisation was issued to BingX EU, the entity registered as MEGE zweite GmbH. According to the company, the licence covers the 29 countries that make up the EEA and remains subject to ongoing passporting arrangements — the mechanism that allows a firm authorised in one member state to operate in others.
What the licence covers
- Authorisation granted by Austria's Financial Market Authority
- Held by BingX EU, registered as MEGE zweite GmbH
- Applies to the 29 countries of the European Economic Area
- Continued EEA access depends on passporting arrangements
BingX framed the approval as a step in its European expansion, saying users in the region would access its services under a single regulatory framework. The exchange did not disclose financial terms or a timeline for rolling out services in specific markets.
MiCA introduced a unified licensing regime for crypto-asset service providers across the EU, replacing a patchwork of national rules and imposing standards on capital, custody and disclosure. Authorisation under the framework has become a prerequisite for exchanges and other providers that want to serve EU customers directly rather than through local arrangements.
