Grayscale files for Zcash ETF with 2.5% fee, potential DCG stake
Grayscale's Zcash ETF filing outlines a 2.5% fee and a possible 34% stake for DCG International.

Grayscale has filed with regulators for a Zcash exchange-traded fund, revealing a proposed management fee of 2.5% and a possible significant ownership position for Digital Currency Group (DCG) International.
According to the filing, based on a June 30 snapshot, a nonbinding contribution of 200,000 ZEC would result in DCG International holding approximately 34% of the enlarged fund.
The filing does not guarantee that the contribution will occur; it is described as nonbinding. The ETF is also subject to regulatory approval and has not yet launched.
Potential stake
If realized, the 34% stake would link the fund closely to DCG, which is Grayscale's parent company. The arrangement was disclosed as part of the ETF application process.
Grayscale has pursued a range of single-asset crypto ETFs as part of its expansion beyond trusts, though each requires approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
