Taurus Adds Stellar Smart-Contract Assets to Custody Platform
Institutional custody firm Taurus says its Stellar integration now covers smart-contract assets, letting clients use existing custody controls for more tasks.

Taurus, an institutional custody and token issuance provider, said its Stellar integration now supports smart-contract assets. The firm said the addition extends the range of tasks institutions can perform through their existing custody controls.
The update brings Stellar-based smart-contract assets into Taurus's custody and issuance setup, according to the announcement. Taurus presented the change as an extension of its current controls rather than a separate product.
Scope of the announcement
- Taurus says Stellar smart-contract assets are now supported within its custody and issuance environment.
- The company says institutions can carry out more tasks using existing custody controls.
- The announcement did not name specific assets, clients, or a rollout date.
The move adds Stellar to the range of networks covered by an institutional custody provider, a segment where firms compete on supporting multiple asset types under one control framework.
